1. Where energy goes, it flows! Focus your energy on positive thoughts matched with positive actions.

2. Be your own cheerleader! At times when you feel alone or like it's "impossible", remind yourself why you started or what's your mission/goals.

3. Don't backslide! You let go or certain people, places, and things for a reason, DO NOT allow yourself to hold space with anything that isn't conducive to your healing or growth.

4. Set boundaries! Always remember that YOU DETERMINE what to spend your time, money, energy, and resources on. NEVER LET GO OF THAT CONTROL!!

5. Be kind to yourself and others. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say it at all.. walk away when necessary and know that everything doesn't need or deserve a response. YOU HOLD THE POWER!!

Did you watch the "big game" last night?! CLICK HERE (or scroll all the way down) to watch my Super Bowl breakdown video. I am in Atlanta and lemme just say, the energy is THICK!!!!!!! I can feel and sense the difference since last night. During times like these, we must ask ourselves: Are we truly grounded?

During the month of February, once a week we will work on strengthening and healing our Root Chakra. As the first of 7 chakras, it’s crucial that we are balancing and healing our root chakra. The Root Chakra is the lowest of the chakras and is associated with the color red. An unbalanced root chakra causes: fear, self doubt, anger, violence, toxic behavior, fight or flight, and lack. A balanced root chakra highlights: joy, security, stability, being grounded, trust, and protection.

Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure.
 

How do we keep a balanced root chakra? Simply by staying grounded! Instead of going back and forth, observe.. instead of being fearful, come up with solutions... instead of feeling unsafe, shield and protect your own energy field... instead of having a "fight or flight" mentality, stand your ground and stand up for what you know, trust, and love! You can get more grounded also by grounding your feet out in nature... take a walk barefoot if the temperature permits.

The time is NOW to RELEASE RELEASE RELEASE people, places, and/or things that disturb or disrupt you from being grounded. An unbalanced root chakra can cause high blood pressure, gout, joint pain, and nerve problems.

THIS WEEK: Remind yourself to stay grounded and do something that helps! Utilize this New Moon in Aquarius energy to strengthen your creativity.
